Millworks

This photographic series documents an abandoned textile mill, once a site of industrial order and productivity, now shaped by decay and transition. The images are layered with geometric forms that reference systems of efficiency, measurement, and control, creating tension between structure and collapse. As the mill exists within a landscape of urban renewal, the work acknowledges overlapping histories of labor, abandonment, and redevelopment, where past and present occupy the same space. Printed as geometric platinum prints, the series contrasts the permanence and precision of the medium with the instability of the site, reflecting on how industrial ideals persist as traces within continually reshaped environments.
